In these stressful times, our own renowned Julie Slater will conduct an intensive 8-week training as a fundraiser for Child Haven.  During the course, participants will learn through mindful meditation, dialogue and inquiry. They will explore and engage in their natural capacity to live a balanced and satisfying life.

Julie is an Occupational Therapist/Psychotherapist and a qualified MBSR instructor. In 1992, at age 19, she was a Volunteer Intern at our Kaliyampoondi home in India. 1992 - Kaliyampoondi, Tamil Nadu

The course will be offered via Zoom. Think of Zoom as a way to participate in a meeting/group with others from the comfort of your own room.  Participants will need a stable internet connection, a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and an email address.

The course will take place on 8 consecutive Fridays from May 1st to June 12th (8am-10:30am). There will be a full day (7 hours) session on Saturday May 30th (8am-3pm). Maximum number of participants: 20. A certificate will be issued to those completing the course.

The cost of the course is $500 (all proceeds will go to Child Haven).  If you have taken this course before or are unable to attend, please consider offering the course as a gift. Please forward this email to anyone you know who may want to participate.
