AD ASTRA Reaches its Target!
In June 2007, AD ASTRA, a foundation in memory of Prof Sean Egan, had
a fund-raiser in Almonte, Ontario, for Child Haven. Dr Egan died in 2005 while attempting to be the oldest Canadian to reach the top of Mount Everest.
The Almonte affair brought them over their cumulative goal of $150,000 fr the new Child Haven Green Tara School in Nepal.
