Gandhinagar
Five volunteers in Gandhinagar: Diane McLaren, Jill Martin, Inge Bockelmann, Mary Rose, and Swanhild Braun, with Ashwin and Rakesh, and the new Sikh children, Harshjeet and Manpreet.
Harshjeet(3) and Manpreet(5), are two sisters who were referred to us from the Government Remand Home in Ahmedabad, who told the mother:
"Oh these girls are too young and delicate for us. Why don't you contact Child Haven. They are good and they take young children."
Child Haven was happy to admit them. They are our first Sikh children. An older brother may be admitted later.
