Laundry isn't easy in Nepal
Nepal

Gunga, our main dhobi (laundry person), works hard and always has a smile. To save water, she sometimes carries clothes up the hill to the spring (see photo below) to do them. They are very heavy to carry back down. (Erla Lank photo).
Child Haven working in Nepal

The spring is located halfway up to the temple which is on top of the hill behind our home.

Freezing cold water streams out of three pipes and some of the Child Haven kids go up there for their cold water bath.
