Caring For: 41 children, 4 women
Child Haven International helps financially with a children's home in Tibet in China.
The children range in age from 5 to 21 and are Tibetan Buddhist. There are 6 staff employed to look after the home.
Above, in the midst of grazing yaks, the school compound is in the center and and the adjacent Child Haven compound at right, with the greenhouses dimly shown further right.
Child Haven Tibet in China has two greenhouses. One, with stone walls and the more permanent of the two, is used practically all year round. Villagers have used Child Haven welding equipment to build their own greenhouses.
