CHILD HAVEN NEPAL OPENING
Nearing completion

Above is the new Child Haven home in Nepal. We had to trim some photos to exclude a neighbor's buildings, but we couldn't remove the neighbor's TV antenna in the centre of the photo, partially obscuring the main building, "Maryama Child Haven Home" in honor of Mary Bowrin, mother of the Executive Director of the American Himalayan Foundation, Erica Stone - both of whom have been friends of the Cappuccino family for over 30 years.

Looking west on the north side of the Maryama building. At left we are looking west on the north side of Maryama building along the L-shaped middle section. At the back on the right-hand side, workmen are standing on the roof of the "Green Tara School" which is three stories high.

At bottom right is a neighbor's place which occupies the other half of the knoll. Because the neighbor's place is so vulnerable right below, we installed tight screens so papers and other items don't fall in his yard. He wants $75,000 for his property, which we think is too high, and we don't have that kind of money anyhow.
