The Plight of Nepal War Orphans

CHILD HAVEN HAS BEEN INVITED TO CARE FOR SOME 400 ORPHANS CREATED IN THE STRUGGLES BETWEEN MAOISTS AND THE ARMY

We are accepting a few, but our facilities are severely strained. If we had new money, say another $100,000, we could purchase adjoining property, put up inexpensive shelters and accept orphans age six and under (those at greatest risk), perhaps 100 children.

We could feed in two shifts in the existing dining hall, house the new children in our present school building, and school the children in the newly constructed shelters. Those families giving $5000 or more would have a hexagonal plaque installed on the memorial wall.
